Client Service Manager - Oakland, CA

Client Service Managers work with our clients as part of a two-person team with our investment advisors.  They help clients in establishing accounts and transferring funds in and out of those accounts.  They serve as the key communicator between the client and various members of the Savant team, particularly investment advisors.

 

Our client service managers are accountable, motivated, collaborative, and upbeat team members. They are passionate about providing excellent service with the ability and desire to effectively interact with clients.  These individuals are well organized, have extraordinary attention to detail, can multitask, and hold the ability to support multiple advisors.  They play a major role in successfully managing assigned client relationships resulting in high client retention rates. 

 

We seek managers who will

  • Respond to all client inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner

  • Onboard new clients through data gathering, creating accounts, and transferring funds

  • Work with clients in transferring funds in and out of their accounts

  • Ensure clients are aware of all administrative and statutory requirements for their accounts

  • Monitor and execute trades for investment advisors

  • Assist advisors in preparing for client review meetings

  • Prepare and ensure accuracy in materials for client meetings, and follow up with post-meeting requests

  • Input and maintain all client related information, activity, correspondence, and documents in our database

  • Collaborate with our custodial institutions to properly execute account related activities

  • Utilize financial planning software to guide clients with their cash flow needs

  • Participate in the branding, growth, comradery, and ethical culture of Savant

 

Required Skills

  • Quick learner, highly organized, detail-oriented, independent, and able to complete complex tasks

  • Responsive and effective verbal and written communication

  • Problem-solving acumen

  • Ability to learn new technology tools, platforms, and software

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite of technologies, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Open to feedback and coaching

  • Positive and can-do attitude

 

Desired Skills         

 

  • Knowledge of portfolio accounting, financial planning, and client relationship management software

  • Familiarity working with custodial institutions

  • Tech-savvy individual

  • Three years of experience in a similar job

  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Compensation & Benefits

 

Compensation is between $55,000 and $75,000, depending on prior experience in investments.
